Award:
Teams of three of four players will compete in a scrambles format for 18 holes. It is a requirement that a team use a Tee Shot from each team member on each nine holes. If your team has only three players, you may choose on of your team members to take an extra try on each putt. The team score will be the gross score based on this formation for the full 18 holes.
The tournament will be started in a 'shotgun' format with teams on each hole. Play the full front nine from the white and red tees. Once nine holes are complete and the teams return to their starting tee, use the blue and yellow tees to complete the final nine holes.
Prizes will be awarded as 'chits' in the Pro Shop to the three teams with the lowest scores. Ties will be broken using the 'sudden victory' matching of cards starting withthe lowest rated handicap and proceeding in order through the eighteen holes (i.e. 1, 10, 7, 16, 5, 14, etc...). In the event that after 18 holesof matching cards, there is still a tie, the prize will be divided evenly amongst the teams that have tied.
Keep moving at a good pace. Let's try to have all of the teams done in less than 4 hours. Bring the completed scorecard to the Pro Shop staff after youhave completed the 18 holes. Hava a great time and remember to fill in your divots with the seed mixture in the dispensers in the card and repair any ball marks on the grass.
