The Tournament format is a net 2 man team better ball. Wining teams will be determined on the total score for 36 holes. Each player will use 90% of his handicap in determining the net score per hole.
Play will be as foursomes. The official score card will be kept by each team. At the end of each hole, both players will give their gross scores on the hole to the other team and they will record it on the offical scorescard. The lower net score, derived by reducing the gross scores by the handicap strokes assigned to that player for the hole, will be written in the scorecard column titled 'Net Team Best Ball'. At the end of the day the 18 hole score for each team will be turned into the pro shop staff for tally.
Awards will be given for first, second and third place teams as well as Net Division and One Low Gross Score. All ties will be settled by a match of cards starting with the first hole and proceeding numerically until the ties have been broken.
Have a good time and keep the play moving along. We have to play 4 hour rounds. If your partner is in the hole and you cannot beat his score, feel free to pick up to keep play moving.
