The first adult interclub matches against the Sharon Country Club was held on July 18 at the NCC. The next is at Sharon on August 22 at 1:00. Sign up with J.B. to play for the NCC team. 8 players (4 men and 4 women) will be needed.
Ladies

Winners - Janene Alford and Linda Sahl (score 64); Runner-ups - Turi Rostad and Barbara Perkins (score 64); the tie was broken by a match of the cards.
Last week for Ladies' Day, we had a "par 3" tournament. There were tee boxes set up in some non-traditional places and the ladies had a lot of fun playing the course. Janene Alford and Louise Davis tied for the lead with a 3 over par 30. With a match of the cards, Louise took home the win and the winners check.
Seniors

Senior Club Championship matches are going on right now. Larry Hannafin recently defeated Trav Auburn to move into the finals.
There is a pro-am on August 9 (Monday) at Ellington Ridge CC. We are looking for players of all abilities to join me. Call the pro shop for more info.
Mixed
The Robertson Mixed Pinehurst is right around the corner -- July 31 and August 1. It is a two person team, one man and one women per team (choose your own partner). We need a couple more teams to complete the brackets. Call or e-mail the pro shop soon to enter. If you do not have a partner yet, let us know and we may be able to hook you up with one.
Juniors
The junior golf/tennis camp starts on Tuesday, July 20. Please try and let us know what days and times your children are going to attend so we can have the appropriate amount of staff on hand. The program is Tuesday through Friday from July 20 through August 13. We will have a junior outing and activity day on the last day to see how everyone has improved.
Another "par 3" tournament is being discussed. We are considering Friday Aug. 20, and everyone is invited to play. We'll have men's, women's, and junior tees set up. It should be a lot of fun. Let Ron know your thoughts!
Qualifying for the club championship has begun. Sign up or call for more information and all the details about qualifying.
Ron is available for lessons at the range or on the course. DON'T FORGET THE WEDNESDAY NIGHT SCRAMBLE at 5:00 with dinner and drinks to follow. Please sign up for events you'd like to participate in. Send Ron some feedback on how everything is going in the golf world at Norfolk Country Club.
